This course will address the seven areas of technology in various ways. We will study in student groups and/or individually. Students may be asked to attend Field Trips. We may incorporate tech into the school via maintaining equipment, providing solutions for teachers needs, or assisting other students 6-12. We may participate in contests for photos, videos, etc.
  • New Students and those who need additional assistance with creating your portfolio pages may find this course helpful. Ask Ms Donna about enrolling.
  • 8th Grade Students will go through these topics to demonstrate technological literacy.


We are looking forward to an exciting and productivesemester in our technology class. CCATstudents will beprovided with a variety of  technological experiences with the goal of understanding how to apply technology skills to real world issues that          emphasize hands-on learning.

An exploratory class designed to introduce MS students to the five areas of technology. The aim is to provide students with glimpses into many career oportunities as well as equipping them with a knowledge of a variety of communications tools that will be used throughout their educational years and beyond.

This class is made up of a maximum of 5 students.
Prerequisite: At discretion of instructor, the students must have demonstrated some area of technological expertise. Only self motivated, respectful, honorable, and dependable HS students will be considered. Students are
responsible in large part for the development of their own assignments
(with teacher approval) which will include upkeep and maintenance of
computer hardware across the school campus.
